Justice Reyes – From the Neighborhood

Raised in Chicago’s Pilsen and Bridgeport neighborhoods, Justice Reyes was the oldest of four children and the only one to attend college. At an early age, Justice Reyes witnessed and experienced first-hand inequities and social justice issues common in Latino and working-class neighborhoods that motivated him to become a lawyer.

Justice Reyes is the recipient of several awards for his distinguished service to the bench and bar, with special recognition for his efforts in promoting diversity in the legal profession, including the Justice John Paul Stevens Award, CBA; The Charles E.
